Seton LaSalle hosted an Invention Convention. 4th and 5th Grade Students attended “Invention Convention” at Seton LaSalle High School on March 5, 2020, along with a handful of other Catholic Elementary Schools. Students worked in groups to create an invention. Students had the opportunity to develop skills in problem solving, thinking creatively, and experimenting as they invented their product. Students gave their “sales pitch” to judges at the event. We are excited to share that one of our 4th Grade groups earned the “Most Likely to be Patented Award”. Their invention was named “The Blazing Trail” – a solar powered roller coaster.
St. Margaret of Scotland School also was awarded an “Honorable Mention” and a cash prize that goes toward the school. We are so very proud of all of our 4th and 5th Grade students!
