As a community service project, many of our students volunteered to sing Christmas carols to the residents of Marion Manor. The students had a marvelous time, and the seniors enjoyed hearing some favorite tunes and visiting with the younger set.
Our annual Cookies With Santa event was held in the school cafeteria on Sunday, December 10. The children were so excited to share a snack with Santa and their friends. (Looks like a few elves showed up too!) A big thank you to the PTG and the Shovlin family for sponsoring this event.
The Kindergarten students had lots of fun at Meadowcroft Village. The weather was perfect–just look at those happy faces! They also had some fun painting in the art room. There’s a lot of talent in Mrs. Kaiser’s class.
What an exciting way to come back to school! Iceberg the Penguin, the Pittsburgh Penguin’s hockey team mascot, greeted the children as they arrived at St. Margaret’s today. Some of the students weren’t so sure about him, but most were thrilled to meet our special gue
Our school children and parents planted and maintain this new addition to the St. Margaret campus. Volunteers are continually tending this beautiful and bountiful area. We also have a pumpkin patch and are anxious to see the results.
